Out today and I'm glad it is! This mix is crazy and just goes to show how versatile DJ Baby Yu is. Took a listen to it for the first time a couple of hours ago in my room and it had my dancing while typing...lol, I was ready to have a House Party in my room I was so hyped. I found myself talking out loud to myself about the remixes. Take a listen, download, enjoy!
I first heard "Doesn't Mean Anything" when Alicia Keys tweeted it. The song is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to hear her forthcoming album "Elements of Freedom" set for release December 15th, 2009. I have posted the video for her first single below. Watch & Enjoy!
Here is her 2nd single off the album "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart". Just as beautiful as the first single. I know this album is going to be amazing for start to finish. Listen & Enjoy!
The Substance Group & REMG Entertainment are proud to present KiD CuDi live in concert at The Kool Haus on Saturday, November 28.
Brooklyn-based rapper KiD CuDi first gained attention after the release of his debut mixtape A KiD named CuDi, released in collaboration with New York street wear brand 10.Deep. The stand out single "Day 'N' Nite" became a massive hit in 2008, peaking at number 3 on Billboard Hot 100 and ruling the U.K. Dance Tracks charts.
Following the success of the single, CuDi caught the attention of Kanye West, and was recruited to lend his vocals on Kanye's 2008 album 808s & Heartbreak, singing with him on the track named "Welcome to Heartbreak", providing additional vocals on "Paranoid" and helping with songwriting on "Heartless". The same year CuDi signed with Kanye's G.O.O.D Music Label and performed at the 2008 VMAs along side Travis Barker and DJ AM.
KiD CuDi’s music fuses alternative rock, hip-hop and occasionally R & B, to form feel-good and emotionally conscious records. His debut album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day was released in September 2009 and features guest spots from Kanye West, Common, Snoop Dogg, Ratatat, MGMT, Clipse, 88-Keys and Chip tha Ripper.
After sampling Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" on the hit tune "Make Her Say" from his debut album, CuDi will be hitting to road with Lady Gaga herself, supporting her on ‘The Monster Ball’ North American Tour, rolling into town this November. Adding to the deafening online buzz, CuDi has been tipped as an artist to watch in such authoritative print outlets as Rolling Stone, Vibe, The Source, Interview, and XXL.

Skillz is definitely one of my favorite artists out there right now. Lyrically he can't be touched. "The Million Dollar Backpack" is one of my favorite albums up to date and I can't wait for his next project "INfamous Quotes" to be released.
In the mean time, here is a leak to one of the singles off the project.
