Sunday Night Laundry

So Sunday's is my laundry day and normally I try to get it done early evening...save more energy that way...but I NEVER wait this long to start it. Today I decided to start it at 11:30pm, 3 loads, 2 down and one more to go...but what to do while I wait? Nothing on TV and the book I started to read has not yet caught my attention...so I'm sitting in front of the computer bored out of my mind...figured why not blog.
Weekend was good...my bff came down from Kitchiner...we hit up YourGirlSam's bday (Loves her forever) on Friday, then attempted to head to Shuffle for a minute but traffic was brutal so I had to scratch it off my list and just went straight to 2000Til. Always a good party...never been disappointed.
Saturday was pretty much a chill day, slept until 2pm (but was up until 7am so I'm allowed). Then had an appointment at the bank at 3...show up at 3 to only realize that I forgot to bring the papers I needed so I had to reschedule...ended up heading to XS after midnight when we finally decided we wanted to go out and today...well I just chilled...had a pretty quiet weekend...those are the best...now lets hope the work week is as relaxing...hahaha...wishful thinking! =)

Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover!

My brother showed this to me on Tuesday...WOW!!!

AVOID BEING ON THE STRING...

I'm reading Steve Harvey's "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man" and WOW! Honestly ladies, this is a book you all need to read. Regardless of if your happily married, single, divorced, getting into a relationship, engaged...you get my point. READ IT!
Some of you may think that it may be a lot like "He's Just Not That Into You" but I borrowed this book from my girl who had read both and she said its way better!

Here is something I read last night that I felt I needed to share with you. Now most of us already know this and I'm sure at some point either you or a friend has been here. But wow is it different when you hear a man say it.

Steve Harvey said in Chapter 10 - The Five Questions Every Woman Should Ask Before She Gets In Too Deep:

"Your objective is to avoid being the string.
The first step, I think, is to get over the fear of losing a man by confronting him. Just stop being afraid, already. The most successful people in this world recognize that taking chances to get what they want is much more productive than sitting around being too scared to take a shot. The same philosophy can easily be applied to dating: if putting your requirements on the table means you risk him walking away, its a risk you have to take. Because that fear can trip you up every time; all too many of you let the guy get away with disrespecting you, putting in minimal effort and holding out on the commitment to you because you're afraid he's going to walk away and you'll be alone again. And we men? We recognize this and play on it, big time. Know this: the game is old, and it's not ever going to change. My sons will do it the same way because they can and there will be woman who allow it to happen. But you can certainly know the rules up front, and change up your strategy, so you don't get played."

What he says after this...I can't even begin to explain what an eye opener is was for me! So if you got the few extra dollars, go get this book. They have it at Wal-Mart right now for 30% off. It will be money well spent.

Twilight Saga

Sam started reading Twilight long before the hype started, she was totally geeked over this Vampire and how wonderful he was. I used to come into the office and think she was starting to lose her mind...her obsession with this saga was almost as bad as mine and Dance Crew. So the movie came out, the hype started dying out and I finally decided that I was gonna read this book to see what it was all about. At first I thought of renting the movie to make it easier but then heard that the movie is far from good compared to the novel.
The only thing that was holding me back about reading this book was, I don't read much...definitely not as much as I should...actually...I don't read at all...I lose interested quickly and have really bad ADD when it comes to books. But figured why not, lets give it a shot.
Well didn't I just jump on the band wagon! Not only am I in love with Edward (the Vampire) but I am actually now sleep deprived because I have to read this book. I am on the last book now "Breading Dawn". I got my best friend hooked on the book and recommend for everyone to read it! Stephanie Meyer is one amazing writer. I watched the movie after I finished the second book and was so disappointed with how poorly they focused on small points that mattered, the acting was bad and I didn't love it the way I loved the book.
If you enjoy reading you definitely need to get on these books...heck...even if you don't like reading you still need to get on these books.

***NEW SINGLE*** BLOC PARTY - "Signs" Armand Van Helden Remix

So it was only a matter of time before Armand Van Helden finally put out something new. I really like the song...its become part of the daily playlist here at the office...the video is interesting...different...really different...but interesting...enjoy!

Objectum Sexuality??? WTF

So I sign into Twitter today and look at the feed...I see that Perez Hilton posted this. I boggles my mind! I don't even know what to think...and I'm sure he was just as shocked as I was when he watched the video. Here...see for yourself...there are some strange strange people out there!
When reading the article below...make sure you watch the video...sooo weird...you can't help but laugh cause you have no idea how to react to it.

Been a while...

Okie, so I have been slacking on this for a while now but its been really busy and I haven't really had a minute to come on...plus been kinda hooked on the Twilight Saga so what ever free time I have has been dedicated towards finishing the saga. Almost done!
Works been really busy, we just had the Big Daddy Kane tour, went really well! I missed the show cause I was working the show but from what I could hear, he did a great job and from the crowds reaction I know it was a great show! We also just did the Russell Peters official Juno Afterparty in Vancouver, that was rammed! Will.I.AM at Muzik this past Saturday...I was very impressed...I didn't think he would be able to actually DJ but he held it down! Looking forward to hearing him play again.
Oh...hahaha...so we also had Randy and Mr.Lahey from Trailer Park Boys at Whisky A Go-Go...never been to a stip joint until I had to work this show cause Neil was out of town and Andrew couldn't do it...let me tell you...never did I imagine that I would be sitting in the Champagne Room with Randy (and he was in character too...with his shirt off and belly out). It was interesting and I couldn't help but laugh every time I registered where I was.
So what do we have coming up...hmmm...for April we got, Vivid Video girls at Brant House this Thursday, Karl Wolf this Thursday in Hamilton, Oshawa on Friday and Mississauga on Sunday, Marky Ramone on the 16th @ Brant House, UFC Pre & After party in Montreal on the 17th & 18th, Steve Aoki in Victoria on the 21st and Robbie Rivera in London on the 26th. Stay tuned for some really really big news...show be announcing that this week.
Its gonna be a busy summer by the way things are going at the office but what is really nice is that we have taken the weekends off to focus a bit more on the bookings and I'm not complaining about that...I for the first time in years get weekends...so what have I done with those...NYC, ATL, MTL...it was wonderful...weekend after weekend...I actually felt like I had a life...hahahah.
Posted some pics from NYC, ATL and MTL. =D

>>>Oh..and I almost forgot, I finally gave in and went to the NKOTB concert...I think I was the only person in the building that was there to see Jabbawockeez! Heehee!!!!
