T.G.I.F.

So the weekend is finally here and for some reason I am very excited. I don't normally look forward to a weekend unless its Sunday because my weekend is only 1 day and that's Sundays. But for some reason I am so excited that its Friday. I don't even have any specific plans for tonight, I think I'm just going to go home after work and laying low. Finally borrowed Twilight from Sam and actually gonna see if I can read this book and not have my A.D.D kick in.
Tomorrow is the Grand Finale at Republik. The club is shutting down for 3-4 weeks from extensive renovations. I'm excited for the re-launch and to see what the club is going to look like. If you are in the downtown core this Saturday, stop by Republik for one last drink before its transformed into a new state-of-the-art club. I think I'm also excited to finally have a weekend...starting next weekend I have full weekends for 3 or 4 weeks. Do you know how exciting that its? I haven't had a Saturday off in over a year. I haven't had a full weekend in over a year. So needless to say...I am VERY excited! Going to NYC next Sunday for a couple of days to hang with some friends, then ATL the weekend after to see Yuta...sooo excited...and then Montreal on the 14th. We have a Jazzy Jeff coming up in Montreal at Tribe Hyperclub on the 14th so if your in the area you should definitely check out the party...its going to be crazy...my friend A.Vee is also going to be up here on March 12th & 13th...if your in the Guelph area make sure to check him out at Van Gogh on the 12th and Rockwood on the 13th.
Hmmm...what else is coming up...we have Mix Master Mike at Club Mansion in London next Saturday, so if your in the London area make sure to check him out...we had him at Brant House in January and WOW...I was very impressed and I can guarantee the party is going to be off the hook in London.
So I have finally turned to Twitter...I must say that Sam talked about it for the longest time and I wasn't feeling it at all...wasn't even interested enough to even check it out...on Sunday, bored, I decided to go on...what do you know...I'm addicted. The one person who was so against Twitter is now addicted...so check me out...folllow me =D The link is on the top right of this page.

Came across their page on MySpace while I was on Sam Sparro's page and I'm really digging their sound...its vintage...and I'm lovin the vintage sound right now. Its refreshing from whats out there all the time. Not knocking anyone...but I was watching 106 & Park on Saturday and I could not believe what was on the countdown...and I checked with Yuta and everything I thought was wack was a hit down in ATL. So needless to say...I'm enjoying my vintage sound and whatever else that doesn't get played on TV or the radio. If your into that sound...check em out!
